Common questions
The script doesn't move when I speak. What should I check?
NowRolling needs microphone and speech recognition access to follow your voice. Open Settings, then NowRolling, and turn both on. If voice following isn’t available on your device, choose Fixed Speed in the More menu and the script will scroll at a steady pace instead.
Does NowRolling upload my scripts or recordings?
No. Speech recognition runs on your device and we have no server. Your scripts and projects sync only through your own iCloud, and takes stay on the device that recorded them. Takes are copied to your photo library only if you turn on Save Takes to Photos. See the privacy policy.
How do my scripts get to my other iPhone or iPad?
Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each device and leave iCloud on for NowRolling. Your scripts, projects and settings appear on each one. Takes are video files, so they stay on the device that recorded them; save them to Photos to see them elsewhere.
How do I control a take from another iPhone or iPad?
Open NowRolling on both devices, on the same Wi-Fi network, and allow Local Network access when asked. You can then start, stop and step through a take from the second device.
What's included for free, and what does NowRolling Pro add?
The free plan includes three scripts of your own, takes up to three minutes, and five edits a month. NowRolling Pro removes those limits and adds a voice for each role in Self-Tape, For Casting export, and subtitles and captions. You can subscribe yearly (with a free week) or monthly, or pay once.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought NowRolling with, then tap Restore Purchases in the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose NowRolling. Pay Once is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.
What are the terms of use?
NowRolling is licensed under Apple’s Standard License Agreement. Pay Once unlocks Pro for as long as NowRolling is offered on the App Store; it does not promise any particular future feature.
How do I ask for a refund?
Apple handles payments and refunds for the App Store. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Which devices does NowRolling work on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.
